  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 medium onion (150g), chopped finely
  • 2 x 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 125g Gouda cheese or another cheese that melts easy
  • 1 x 200g HARVEST GOURMET Incredible Mince
  • 150-175g dry spaghetti

Cooking Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced. Grease and line a small oven tray.
  • Heat half the oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Add garlic and onion, cook 2-3 minutes or until fragrant, add tomatoes, simmer, uncovered, over low heat for about 15 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Cut cheese into cubes of approximately 1.5 cm. Divide the HARVEST GOURMET Incredible Mince into 20 pieces and press a cube of cheese into each piece of mince. Shape it around the cheese into a ball.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to directions on pack.
  • In the meantime, heat remaining oil in a medium frypan over low-medium heat; cook the balls until lightly browned, transfer to prepared oven tray and bake for a further 5 minutes. Add the balls to sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Serve over spaghetti.
